At Brakes Catering equipment we can offer you a range of simple to use and identify, colour coded knives. These Sheffield steel blades are supplied with polypropylene handles and are designed to make the most of your professional skills. Health and Safety is the priority in any kitchen. This is one of the best ways of ensuring good food hygiene and reducing the risk of cross contamination is to adopt the colour coded system.

This Black Sharpening Steel has a coloured handle making it easy to categorise and separate into meat, vegetable, fish etc use so that there is no chance of cross contamination. This sharpening steel has been designed to be durable, simple to use and machine washable making them ideal for any professional or commercial kitchen.

The black handle means that this knife is suitable for general use. This Black Sharpening Steel has a 30cm (12") shaft. Other types of colour coded knives are also available here at Brakes.

Any carriage charges caused by an aborted delivery are the customer’s responsibility and will be charged accordingly. Any products incorrectly ordered by the customer will incur a re-stocking fee, products must be returned in original packaging and be unused. Stainless steel fabrication is non-returnable.
